AMA has recognized the UNM School of Medicine’s ongoing commitment to improving the well-being of its faculty, staff, and learners with a Joy in Medicine Bronze Recognition award. The UNM School of Medicine is an official supporter of the Charter on Physician Well-being and Renewal Medicine (CHARM), a group of leading medical centers and organizations that includes the AMA. The Charter helps health systems, organizations and individuals advance and promote physician well-being.

The UNM School of Medicine is a sponsor of the National Academy of Medicine Action Collaborative on Clinician Well-Being and Resilience, a network of more than 200 organizations committed to reversing trends in clinician burnout.
