UN Women impact stories: Women, peace, and security | Digital library: Publications

[ad_1]

The “UN Women impact stories series”, updated quarterly, illustrates the human impact of UN Women’s work across the world, highlighting the partnerships that make this work possible. These stories share how we and our many partners are striding forward to realize a better world for women and girls—one of equality and empowerment because that is what we do and who we are, as a leader, mobilizer, convener, and provider of programmes.

The September 2021 edition is dedicated to women, peace, and security (WPS) ahead of the UN Security Council Open Debate on 29 October. These impact stories illustrate part of UN Women’s work on implementing the WPS agenda through programming and partnerships that support the meaningful participation and leadership of women in building long-lasting peace in Bangladesh, the Central African Republic, Georgia, and Lebanon.
