MADISON (WKOW) — LunART Festival, which features local artists and artists from across the globe, is coming up next week.
The festival’s mission is to support, inspire, promote and celebrate women in the arts.
Guests will be able to enjoy a panel discussion featuring distinguished artists Melinda Wagner (composer, a Pulitzer-prize winner in 1999), Emily Birsan (soprano), Issis Macias (visual artist), R.B. Simon (poet), and moderator Marie Pauls (musician) as they delve into the intersection of art and motherhood.
The festival showcases the works of more than 20 women composers and features over 40 local, national, and international musicians.
