What does the Budget need to include for women?

As the Federal Government prepares to hand down its third budget ahead of an election next year, women’s advocacy groups are watching closely. 

Many are pleased with a number of announcements that have already been drip-fed out, ahead of the big reveal. 

But there are some key items on their agendas that have yet to be addressed, particularly around women’s safety, childcare and income support.
