UK-Ukraine TechBridge launches skills training for tech careers
- Resources to support Ukrainian citizens’ learning and career development in tech is offered pro bono by industry partners.
- Includes offer of formal certifications from Oracle for up to 8,000 Ukrainian participants.
- Open to Ukrainian citizens both in Ukraine and those displaced, with particular focus on supporting women and veterans to develop new skills.
The TechBridge Skills and Development Programme helps Ukrainian citizens access training and opportunities to continue professional development despite disruption caused by Russia’s illegal invasion.
Training offered by Oracle, Cisco, Salesforce, and Amazon Web Services can be accessed through the UK-Ukraine TechBridge website.
In addition to its training package, Oracle will offer formal certifications for up to 8000 participants in an in-kind donation worth £2m. This is an opportunity for Ukrainians to gain globally recognised professional qualifications as well as job placement assistance.
Ukrainian citizens, including those displaced by conflict, will be able to enrol in programmes that support both entry-level and experienced individuals. This will particularly support women entering the tech sector for the first time, as well as veterans returning from active conflict.
The tech sector in Ukraine has shown remarkable resilience despite the challenges of Russia’s full-scale invasion, continuing to grow year on year.

The UK-Ukraine TechBridge is a strategic partnership between the UK Government and Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation, which formally launched in January 2024.
